As 2024 begins, the cumulative results of '23 begin to roll in. The Roots Music Report has released it's charts of top albums and songs for 2023 based on radio airplay and LIABR made the list, with three artists.
Johnny Wheels and the Swamp Donkeys landed in the #11 album of the year slot in the Roots Music Reports "Top Roots Rock Album chart for the year of 2023". They also have 7 songs on the Roots Music Report "Top Roots Rock Songs for the year of 2023".
Both Chad Rupp and the Sugar Roots and GemeniiDRAGON and the New Orleans Trauma Unit made the Roots Music Reports "Top Blues Rock Album charts for 2023" with Chad landing the #37 slot and GemiiniiDRAGON landing the #72 slot. Chad Rupp also landed the #117 slot on the "Top Blues Rock Song charts for 2023" with "I Got You" co-written by Timmer Blakey.
GemeniiDRAGON's newest release "3", will be out officially February 1st 2024 on LIABR to coincide with their PNW tour. The album features a guest appearance by LIABR artists Chad Rupp and TJ Wong. Check GeminiiDRAGON's web site and Facebook page for details and PNW show dates.
Chad Rupp and the Sugar Roots will begin tracking their new album in February. While special guests are still being arranged, you can be sure there will be guest slots for a number of LIABR artists.
Johnny Wheels has begun recording his new album and expects to have it completed by late 2024.
